[2024/03/26 17:50] Sonja Bikergrrl: The two pairs of younger guards give the older two a slightly sheepish look. The older one, who must be in charge, rolls his eyes and walks over, smiling. "Perhaps you and I might just take a little stroll into the alleyway there, and just have a quiet chat?"

[2024/03/26 17:55] Alicia Frakture: "I've been here before didn't find work so left. now coming back for some shopping and personal business."

[2024/03/26 17:57] Alicia Frakture: Didn't know we were supposed to check in since we were not stopped at entry
[2024/03/26 17:57] Sonja Bikergrrl: The guards' frown deepens. "Last -night-? And you might have some proof of this, maybe?"

[2024/03/26 17:58] Sonja Bikergrrl: The guard just smiles. "I'm just asking if you can prove you only arrived last night, that's all."
[2024/03/26 17:59] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "is that something you expect everyone to have at a moments notice?"
[2024/03/26 18:00] Sonja Bikergrrl: Guard: "You are, shall we say, unusual? Is it so unusual for me to enquire as to your whereabouts yesterday?"
[2024/03/26 18:00] Alicia Frakture: Yes, yes I can." She looks at one of the others."Can one of you grab the guy or his butler. This is feeling like a something happened and you fit the description moments."

[2024/03/26 18:01] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "...I do think it's unusual, yes. Only in human towns do guards accost me on first sight for simply walking through a market district."

[2024/03/26 18:04] Sonja Bikergrrl: The guard pauses, looking thoughtful. "Well. We'll check that later, but by the sounds of it, you aren't the one we're looking for. I doubted it... but... hiding in plain sight and all that."

[2024/03/26 18:07] Sonja Bikergrrl: Guard: "Then I'll ask you to be careful. There's a number of angry people ready to jump to the wrong conclusion. But thank you for helping us with our enquiries."
[2024/03/26 18:07] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben watches his expression, the whole encounter remindering her once again why she dislikes being in human-controlled terretory.

It's coming from fairly close by.... but you cannot find the source. It seems to come from a certain direction, but as you head that way, it seems to come from elsewhere. In any case, you try to follow the sound, but, it seems you are going in circles.
